This community engagement project invited residents of a Sacramento neighborhood whose homes were built 100 years ago or more to discover their stories.  The stories these homes held are among the most hidden and notorious stories within the city  of Sacramento.

Neighbors gathered for a series of free workshops to learn how to research, write and share stories of their family, house and neighborhood. Our project culminated with a walking tour of the neighborhood. Residents displayed yard signs sharing one simple story and graphic.
