Oakland Museum of California featured an exhibit , “Sacramento – City of Two Rivers.” The American River Parkway is featured as one of the main topics of the exhibit space. The Parkway is a 25 mile greenbelt encasing the American River as it winds through the suburban communities of Sacramento. Soil Born (an urban farm), Effie Yeaw Nature Center, several parks and other recreational areas are nestled with the parkway.
Interpretive project included research on the Parkway, interviews, securing photos & illustrations, listing potential objects to display, and creating outline with text describing its history and the amenities listed above. Museum exhibit team produced final displays.
